Hospital Radio Chelmsford prides itself on being one of the very best hospital broadcasters in the UK.  Programmes cover a wide range of musical choices as well as discussions, interviews and chat.  It’s a perfect mix of entertainment whilst you’re in hospital.

The most important thing for us, is that you have a say in what your hear.  How, I hear you cry?

Every evening between 8.30 and 10pm VIP Requests hits the airwaves and the goods news is that if you miss you request, we repeat the whole show the following afternoon between 3.30 and 5pm.

Before the show goes on-air our Request Team will visit a selection of wards and collect requests from our listeners. Unfortunately we can not visit each ward every night as the hospital is far too big for that, so we go to the wards on a rota basis, which means we see around 100 people each evening and each ward usually gets visited 2 or 3 times a week. Look out for our team on your ward soon. They're easy to recognise, as they will be carrying pens, request slips and our magazine.
